How can we create a consistent Michaels experience across two platforms, while allowing additional functionality via iPad?
By integrating current data from Michaels product and inventory systems, along with working with the creative team to import ongoing craft projects, we were able to develop a methodology to present the craft projects based on supplies handy. The solution was developed as a responsive solution specifically for tablets and phone.
The final version of the iPhone experience integrated well into Michaels existing app and made it easy for crafters to identify what they could make with what they had on hand. The iPad app allowed users to accomplish these same tasks, as well as to perform the additional functions specifically added to this platform.
